MOQ
Minimum order quantity is the smallest quantity or dollar value a seller will accept. It may apply to an SKU, a brand, a category, or the total purchase order.
Case pack
Case pack is the number of sellable units packed in one case. If a case contains 12 units and the supplier sells only full cases, ordering 20 units may be impossible; the practical choices could be 12 or 24.
Other pack levels
An inner pack groups units inside a case. A master case can contain several inner packs. Confirm which level the quoted price describes and whether each unit has the required retail identifier.
Buying calculation
Translate the quote into total cash, total units, freight volume, storage needs, and expected sell-through. A lower unit price at a much higher MOQ can create worse returns and more inventory risk.
Questions buyers ask
Can MOQ be a dollar amount?
Yes. Suppliers may set a minimum value instead of, or in addition to, a unit minimum.
Does one case equal one sellable unit?
Not necessarily. Confirm whether the marketplace listing is for a single unit, multipack, or case.
Should I ask for mixed cases?
You can ask, but availability depends on the supplier and product configuration.
